Taxidermy
Tyvek specimen tags that survive boiling, maceration, and degreasing — so the printed ID stays legible from field to finished mount and every carcass stays matched to its client.
In a taxidermy studio or bone-cleaning workshop, a specimen tag has to survive the one process that destroys ordinary labels: the boil. Skulls and carcasses are boiled, macerated, degreased, and soaked for days, and a paper tag turns to pulp long before the bones are clean. We supply Tyvek specimen tags — a tough, tear-proof synthetic that stays intact through hot water, solvents, and prolonged soaking. Printed with thermal-transfer resin, the species, client name, and reference number stay sharp from the moment a carcass comes in to the moment the finished mount goes out. No smudging, no lost tags, and no guessing whose carcass is whose.
Boil-Proof Tyvek Tags
Tear-proof synthetic tags that survive boiling, maceration, and degreasing without pulping or falling apart.
Solvent & Chemical Resistant
Stand up to degreasing agents, peroxide whitening, and prolonged water soaking during skull and bone cleaning.
Smudge-Proof Resin Print
Thermal-transfer resin printing that stays legible through heat and chemicals — text and barcodes that don't run.
Numbered Specimen Tags
Sequential specimen and job numbers so every carcass, cape, and skull is tracked through every stage of the process.
Client & Reference Tracking
Client name, species, and intake reference on every tag — so finished mounts always return to the right customer.
Tannery & Workflow Tags
Durable stage tags for tanning, drying, and mounting workflows that keep multiple jobs organised at once.
